In 1994 Mary and her daughter Annabel launched their Original Family Recipe Salad Dressing quickly followed by Mary Berry’s Special Mustard Dressing.

The products, which were originally sold at Mary’s Aga Workshops in the early 90s, proved such a success that they decided to sell them nationwide.

For the mother and daughter team it was about  "delivering top quality dressings and sauces, using the very best ingredients, with taste being the most important aspect”. The products are GM free, 100% vegetarian, contain free-range eggs and no artificial flavourings or preservatives.

Ten years on, it seems that the rest of the country agree on the taste. The nine product range is now UK’s leading provider of gourmet salad dressings and sauces, also retailing in Ireland, Germany and the United States.

The products have proved to be popular amongst a wide range of people; mothers, students, bachelors, career women. In fact anyone whose busy life style means they do not have time to devote to cooking and entertaining, but do not want to compromise on flavour. The dressings are mostly used for salads but popular as a spread for sandwiches instead of butter and as a sauce for pasta. The sauces can also be used for marinating, basting and dipping; also adding flavour to stirfries and glazing meat before roasting.
